April 20th, 2010Lea Michele, NewsLea Michele is one of Time’s Most Influential People this year, hitting the #13 spot on the artists lists. The list, which was divided into leaders, heroes, artists, thinkers and social media, included 24 other artists, including Conan O’Brien, Simon Cowell, Marc Jacobs, Elton John, Lady Gaga, future Glee guest star Neil Patrick Harris and more! Congrats to Lea for being among such illustrious company. Time had other celebrities write about the list’s stars, and Olivia Newton-John (another future Glee guest star!) had this to say about Lea:
She is inspiring young people to get involved in musical programs in schools and encouraging communities to fund them. Lea is wise, savvy and beautiful, an extremely gifted singer-actress-dancer-comedian with perfect pitch (I love that!).
Time credits Lea with encouraging kids to go into music and arts education. Thanks Glee and Rachel Berry, arts programs aren’t getting cut and more kids are interested in glee club, drama and school choir. It’s amazing thing and everyone who works on Glee should be proud of the positive impact they’re having on people’s lives.
As much as Lea deserves this, I’m disappointed that Jane Lynch didn’t make the list. You can see who did here.

A lot. So much so that he’s recreated Madonna’s “Vogue” music video twice. Way back in 2001, Popular’s resident bitch Nicole Julian did her own version of Madonna’s iconic classic. Let’s compare and constract, shall we?
First up, the original:
And now Nicole’s:
And now Sue’s:
My only question? Why was there no Madonna recreation in Nip/Tuck?

April 8th, 2010Kristin ChenowethKristin Chenoweth, who played April Rhodes on Glee wrote abiography a few years ago. Titled A Little Bit Wicked it chronicled her rise from small-town girl in Oklahoma to a Broadway, film and television star. Kristin’s career has been an inspiration to many with theatre dreams and she shares her secrets that helped her make it big.

The book is now available in paperback! I love paperbacks, as they make books cheaper and more accessible to people. If you’ve ever wanted to know more about Kristin, now’s your chance!
A Little Bit Wicked is available through Amazon.com for $15.00
