July 26th, 2010Merchandise, NewsOur book, Don’t Stop Believin’: The Unofficial Guide to Glee went to the printers on Friday. Today, thanks to ECW Press, we got a sneak of the color photo section. AND IT’S SO PRETTY. Check it out:
I am ridiculously excited to see this puppy in the flesh. Amazon is having a bit of trouble right now, but don’t worry! It should be back up soon. In the meantime, you can pre-order the book from ECW Press directly!
And if that’s not enough goodness, read an excerpt from the book here!

June 17th, 2010MerchandiseFor those who are bummed they paid for the Volume 1 DVD and don’t want to shell out the cash for the deluxe full first season DVD, never fear! It was announced yesterday that Fox will in fact release a Volume 2 DVD featuring the back nine episodes only! Volume 2: The Road to Regionals will be available on September 14th and will retail for $39.98, TV on DVD reports.

Sadly, this DVD won’t feature any bonus features. I think I’m still going to shell out for the complete first season DVD, but this is a great option for fans like my mom who don’t care about bonus features and would rather not own two sets of the same episodes.
What about you? Are you going to go with this option? Or do you still want to pick up the deluxe DVD (which does have a $10 Gleebate attached for anyone who bought the first DVD).

June 15th, 2010Awards
The Teen Choice Awards nominees were announced this week, and Glee, Cory Monteith, Jane Lynch and Lea Michele all scored nominations! Glee is up for Favorite TV Comedy against The Big Bang Theory, Sonny With a Chance, Modern Family and Wizards of Waverly Place.
Cory is vying for Favorite Actor in a TV Comedy against Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Sterling Knight (Sonny With a Chance), Steve Carrell (The Office), and the Jonas Brothers (Jonas).
Jane is a lock for Best TV Villain, but she needs to beat Russell Hantz (Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains), Terry O’Quinn (Lost), Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries), and Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl) before she can take home the prize!
Lea will duke it out for Favorite Actress in a TV Comedy against Demi Lovato (Sonny With a Chance), Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory), Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly), and Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place).
The Glee cast scored a nomination in the music category as well, in Favorite Group. Will they beat New Boyz, Selena Gomez & the Scene, The Black Eyed Peas and Young Money?
You can vote every day up until the awards ceremony on August 9th. Vote here! Then tune in August 9th on Fox at 8pm to see if Glee has what it takes!

June 3rd, 2010NewsAs I’m sure you know (and if you don’t, check out the sidebar!) Suzie Gardner and I are working very hard on writing the greatest Glee book ever. Don’t Stop Believin’: The Unofficial Guide to Glee will hit bookstore shelves on September 15, one day after the season one DVD is available! The book will have discuss how Glee came to be, the production behind the show, cast bios, very comprehensive episode guides and a few interviews!
It’s been tons of fun to write, but now we need your help! The first half of the book is written and good to go, but it needs to be edited. And who better to edit it then fellow gleeks?! Thanks to Bite Size Edits, this can happen!

How it works:
- The first chapter of the book is uploaded on Bite Size Edits.
- Random bits of text will be generated for you to edit!
- The more edits you make, the more points you score!
- The editors with the most points win! We’ll be giving away an autographed copy of the book to the top two editors! (And, if there’s a lot of helpful editors, we may give out a few more…we’ll see!)
Note: you have to be registered in order for the points to register. Don’t worry, it’s easy and free!
What are you waiting for? Head here to start editing!

May 18th, 2010NewsThe Fox upfronts happened yesterday, where they announced next season’s schedule, their newest shows and any big surprises that may come out way. The cast of Glee closed out the session with a version of “Like a Prayer.”
But none of that matters.
Glee scored the coveted post-Superbowl slot. This is the most important television time slot all year, as the Superbowl is the most-watched television event ever. February 6, 2011–are you ready? Fox promises the episode will be “very special!”
Glee will return at 8pm on Tuesdays and move to Wednesdays, after American Idol halfway through the season. The 8pm move is interesting–it shows they’re trying to cater to their younger viewers and the family-viewing dynamic the show has.
Photos of the lovely cast at the upfronts below the jump!
