Matt Morrison and Cory Monteith (as Mr. Schue and Finn) did a short promo for last night’s episode of American Idol. It’s short and sweet and we learn that it takes more than talent to be a star. (It takes certainty, just like John Stamos!). Check it out:

Glee returns in less than a week!

OP, the Wal-Mart brand that taps hot young stars for their campaigns every seasons, has scored Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron for the Summer 2010 campaign. Joining them are R&B singer Cassie, Jessica Schzor of Gossip Girl, Alex Meraz and Trevor Donovan. The theme is “Rock Your Shine” (any clue what that means?) and shows the gang having some fun in the sun.

Cory’s been a busy guy filming the last few episodes of Glee, but he still manages to squeeze in some fun! On Monday night, he celebrated the grand opening of the latest West Hollywood hot spot, Industry. He looked cool and casual in jeans and tee and a tough leather jacket.

Ah, the Hollywood life. Attending all these parties and events must get exhausting.

Cory Monteith and Jane Lynch are two stars donating ah-mazing goods to help Haiti, who is still recovering from the horrific earthquake earlier this year. A few weeks back, Cory Monteith twittered about recording a guest spot for the Simpsons. Well, it turns out he’s not the only Gleek getting the blue-and-yellow treatment. Co-stars Lea Michele and Amber Riley will be joining him on the show

Lea tweeted her involvement on Tuesday, writing “recorded an episode of the Simpsons today! So cool!!!! Will let everyone know when it’s gonna air!”

Amber revealed her involvement on February 12th in similar fashion. This leads me to believe there are other Gleeks who will also be on the show, but haven’t spilled the beans yet!

Taylor Swift had a wild night last night at the Grammys, taking home a bucket load of trophys. When are we going to see some of her songs on Glee? Taylor revealed her love for the show last night on the red carpet and was the bazillionth celebrity to say they’d love to guest star on the show.

“I’m really loving Glee right now,” she told E! Online. “If it did happen, I’d love to see what they would do with me.”

Hmm..I’m iffy on this one. I love Taylor, but don’t see a storyline that would make her a believable character on the show. Kristin Chenoweth is a superstar, but she’s not instantly recognizable to everyone who watches Glee. Taylor? It would be like inviting the Jonas Brothers on to play Rachel’s brother. Not going to work.

However, rumors are flying there’s a particular reason person for why she loves Glee. The tabloids are claiming she’s been hanging out with Cory Monteith a lot lately, including at the Grammy pre-party.

Gossip Cop even reports the twosome “have been on a few dates.” I doubt this. I’m sure they run into each other on the red carpet all the time and are even friendly, but between the award shows, the cray Glee production schedule and Taylor performing, promoting Valentine’s Day and goodness knows what else, I doubt they’re dating. But maybe…

Lea shares the stage with pop star Ke$sha and actress Anna Kendrick. Ke$sha has a big year, with her single “Tik Tok” scoring the most digital downloads in one week by a female artist. Anna found a perfect balance between art and commercialism by scoring two huge films. he plays Jessica in the Twillight movies and costars opposite George Clooney in Up in the Air.

The cast of Glee did a fun interview with Just So You Know. Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Kevin McHale, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz chatted about who they’d like to see get a slushie facial, what songs are on their iPod, how they survived high school, and more.

Just So You Know originally aired this video in early December, but i didn’t hit YouTube until this week! The cast of Glee is so adorable, they all seem to get along. I wonder why Chris wants to slushie Amber though. Is it just a joke or is there some back story there?
