April 2nd, 2010Erin (Glee Dork)Cast, Jane Lynch, Lea Michele

Both Lea Michele and Jane Lynch are in the running for the 2010 TIME 100 Poll, where they list the most influential people in 2010. Time tries to get a good mix f entertainers, politicians, activists and more, but often the celebrity quotient is pretty high.

Summer TCA Tour - Day 10

You can vote for Lea here and Jane here.

I’d argue that Jane deserves a spot, but Rachel Berry (albeit fictional) deserves a spot more than Lea. Lea is mega-talented, but what has she done to change the world? Jane, on the other hand, is creating waves both as a near-50 comedic actress and as an out lesbian. For someone like that to be as talked about as she is, that’s amazing and deserves recognition. Rachel Berry, however, has redefined high school. She’s made it cool to be a loser, cool to be driven and cool to be yourself. Lea is AMAZING as Rachel and it’s impossible to separate the two. But until Lea is doing stuff to shake up the entertainment industry outside her character, making a list like this is a bit premature.

January 13th, 2010Erin (Glee Dork)Cast, Jane Lynch, News, TV Appearances

Jane Lynch saw herself get animated for a recent episode of The Cleveland Show. Jane voiced Mrs. Eck, Roberta’s cranky new teacher, for two episodes. Her first appearance was last week, when she was on the “Field of Streams” episode. This week, Mrs. Eck showed up on the “Love Rollercoaster.”

She’s the first Gleek to get the Cleveland treatment, but expect Cory, Lea, Jenna and Chris to pop up in future episodes! I wonder who the other Gleeks are going to play. It would be awesome if Roberta’s high school suddenly had a glee club.

Jane appears in the clip below around the 3:20 mark. Mrs. Eck and Sue Sylvester should really get together. They could do some real evil.

What other shows would you like to see Jane guest star on? I’d love to see her on The Big Bang Theory. Her and Jim Parsons in the same scene? Comedic brilliance!

December 13th, 2009Erin (Glee Dork)Cast, Interviews, Jane Lynch, News, TV Appearances

Everyone on Glee was so busy this pat week promoting the fall finale episode of the show! I love seeing everyone out and about — talk show interviews are the best. They’re informal and meant to entertain.

Jane Lynch stopped by The Bonnie Hunt Show on December 9th to chat . The sound is really low, but it’s the only video I’ve seen so far.

Jane is a great interview, eh? She’s comfortable and confident, which makes watching her so enjoyable.

Everyone’s favorite cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester, ahem…I mean, Jane Lynch, stopped by the set of Lopez Tonight to chat Glee, her busy movie schedule and serenade the funnyman in Spanish on December 8th.

When will Sue sing on Glee? Jane’s voice is pretty good and seeing Sue sing would be amazing!

December 9th, 2009Erin (Glee Dork)Cast, Commercials, Jane Lynch, News

Jane Lynch (or is it Sue Sylvester? That green track suit is confusing me!) is making the rounds in a XBox360 commercial. She breaks into a family’s house and essentially forces them to play Rock Band and watch movies with her.

They also made a behind-the-scenes video of the commercial. The commercial director asked her questions like “If you could be anyone dead or alive, would you be?” and “If you were any layer in a seven layer dip, which one would you be?”

Jane Lynch can break into my house any time.
