June 17th, 2010MerchandiseFor those who are bummed they paid for the Volume 1 DVD and don’t want to shell out the cash for the deluxe full first season DVD, never fear! It was announced yesterday that Fox will in fact release a Volume 2 DVD featuring the back nine episodes only! Volume 2: The Road to Regionals will be available on September 14th and will retail for $39.98, TV on DVD reports.

Sadly, this DVD won’t feature any bonus features. I think I’m still going to shell out for the complete first season DVD, but this is a great option for fans like my mom who don’t care about bonus features and would rather not own two sets of the same episodes.
What about you? Are you going to go with this option? Or do you still want to pick up the deluxe DVD (which does have a $10 Gleebate attached for anyone who bought the first DVD).

April 14th, 2010MerchandiseAccording to Fox Detriot, the Glee iPhone app will launch tomorrow in the US! That means gleeks everywhere (well, gleeks with an iPhone) can take Glee with them wherever they go!
My only question? Is it coming to Canada too?

April 13th, 2010MerchandiseFinally! If you can’t wait to press the “buy this now button” well now you can! The book Suzie Gardner and I have been working so very hard on these past few months (and are still working on right now!) can be pre-ordered through Amazon.com for a mere $14.95. That’s a pretty good deal.
The book covers the COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (and not half the first season like those other lame guides out there. I’m not pointing any fingers, I’m just sayin’) so it won’t arrive until September. Which make the day it arrives a wonderful, magical surprise.

April 8th, 2010Kristin Chenoweth, MerchandiseKristin Chenoweth, who played April Rhodes on Glee wrote abiography a few years ago. Titled A Little Bit Wicked it chronicled her rise from small-town girl in Oklahoma to a Broadway, film and television star. Kristin’s career has been an inspiration to many with theatre dreams and she shares her secrets that helped her make it big.

The book is now available in paperback! I love paperbacks, as they make books cheaper and more accessible to people. If you’ve ever wanted to know more about Kristin, now’s your chance!
A Little Bit Wicked is available through Amazon.com for $15.00

March 31st, 2010Jane Lynch, MerchandiseParty Down was a hilarious show on Starz about wannabe celebrities who were biding time as cater waiters until they caught their big break, parodying Hollywood’s perception of itself and how those in Hollywood view the industry, the city and each other. Created by Rob Thomas, it starred Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Ryan Hansen, Martin Starr, Lizzy Caplan and Jane Lynch! The second season (sans Jane) just finished airing. Jane had to leave the show because of, uh, Glee.

The future of the show is up in the air, as Adam Scott recently signed a deal to appear on Parks and Recreation. Regardless of what happens, Party Down will become one of those beloved cult shows like Arrested Development and Freaks and Geeks. People will quote it for years to come and wonder why it was cancelled.
The season one DVD will be available on April 6th! You can get yours for $21.99 via Amazon. 411 Mania has a fabulous review of the DVD and it’s extras, and I suggest you read that!

Glee comes back on April 13th and the most anticipated soundtrack, well, EVER, will hit stores on April 20th. Being a digital download girl myself, I’m going to be ordering Glee: The Music – The Power of Madonna the second it hits iTunes that day. However, if you’re more of the CD type, you’re in luck! You can pre-order the CD right now, so it’ll come to your door the day the Madonna episode of Glee airs!

I think I love the cover. It took some getting used to, but it’s a nice homage to the Madonna of the ’80s we know and love. The CD costs $7.99 and can be ordered here!
